The 2 pictures below show the progression of the work.
We fitted panels on the sides of the centre section,
and a matching shelf across the centre.
The original doors were fitted inset into the frame - we fitted the replacement bedroom doors outside the frame, giving
a much neater appearance.
Any areas of the old frame that were visible were
covered in Beech type vinyl.

a full length side panel and a panel above the
doors, ensuring that none of the old unit was
visible.

In this instance the bedroom doors which we removed were the sliding type, which we replaced with hinged doors.
