Holiday homes, care homes, commercial premises, bathroom vanity units, etc

As well as domestic kitchens and bedrooms, Just Doors regularly does more specialist work.

Before

Care Homes
We regularly work in care homes - they often have kitchenettes to serve drinks/snacks through the day.
In this instance, we replaced the kitchen doors and drawers, plinth, worktop and sink. We pre-cut everything in advance, so as to ensure the job was done as speedily as possible (in this case in a morning), to minimise any inconvenience.

Holiday Homes

Generally small kitchens, the job can often be completed in one day. In this case we fitted new worktops, sink, kitchen doors and drawer fronts.

Building Units
This was a utility room we tidied up. We built a cupboard to the right of the fridge (a standard size larder unit wouldn't fit), we hid the washer and drier behind doors (oversize doors at 630mm wide), and we boxed in the fridge with a shelf on top.

Non-standard kitchens

This kitchen had been custom made by a joiner, hence all the doors were different sizes, plus they were all inset inside the frames (click on the 'Before' for a better view).
We fitted the new kitchen doors and drawer fronts outside the carcasses, using concealed hinges on the doors.

Moving a Kitchen
The kitchen was being extended by knocking out some internal walls. The client wished to keep the old kitchen units and the solid wood door/drawer fronts because they were still in good condition.
Before
We removed the old units for storage, then returned a few weeks later to refit everything. The tricky part was that the units were to being refitted in different order to how they came out.
The work in progress - we made new end panels and plinths, stained to the correct colour to match.
